All delighted that Denise Main has agreed to be the team Trainer, Mentor and Guide to the South Pole.
Denise, 52, the first Canadian woman to ski to the Geographic North Pole and to the Geographic South Pole from coast to Pole is very experienced having guided 2 full coast to South Pole expeditions and 3 Last degrees. Began her arctic guiding in 1991 on Baffin Island and owned and operated a high end guiding company in the Yukon. Was Director of Outward Bound Canada, traversed Elsmere Island by dog team and has kayaked off the eastern coast.
Completed on 6th June this year a crossing of Greenland; 28 days, 580km.
Denise has enjoyed years of guiding different adventurers and trips and loves helping and sharing the experience with people who equally love to explore and enjoy the challenges and friendships these experiences develop.
